Wildlife Painter & Children's Book Illustrator
Laura Regan was born in Canada and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She is widely known for her rich, contemporary style of painting. You can find Laura's vibrant wildlife images on a large assortment of licensed items including greeting cards, jigsaw puzzles, calendars, personalized checks , and much more.
Her original paintings are included in many collections including those of tennis star Martina Navratilova and opera singer, Marilyn Horn. Laura Regan’s art has also been used to help to raise funds for many organizations including the World Wildlife Fund, the San Francisco Zoo, the San Diego Zoo, and CRES (Center for Reproduction of Endangered species).
In 1992 Laura illustrated her first book with renowned author, Jane Yolen. This was followed by a dozen more books, including another three with Jane, and four books with the wonderful Jean Marzollo.
Laura lives with her husband, Peter. They have a combined family of six grown kids, two adorable grandchildren and a few backyard chickens!

“Ruby Slippers”
onto her feet
